- Mr Lucas Hautvast is Chief Commercial Officer for the Emerald Energy Corporation and was appointed in the summer of 2008. Before that he worked for GDF Suez in the Netherlands, where he was as Commercial Director responsible for all B2B, B2C and trading activities of Electrabel, the largest electricity producer in the Netherlands.
Mr Hautvast obtained an MBA from the Groningen University of The Netherlands. Before he joined the GDF Suez group, he worked for 10 years in the container-shipping business for P&O Nedlloyd, in various countries in Europe and Asia.
- Pierre Clavel is Senior Executive Vice President, Deputy CEO of GDF SUEZ Energy Europe & International Business Line since July 2009. Mr Clavel began his career at SOFREGAZ and subsequently took on various technical and managerial appointments at MEGAL GmbH, Gaz de France and Electricité de France. He has vast experience in the electricity generation, distribution and gas businesses, in both European and international business environments. He is also serving on the Executive Committee of GDF SUEZ. Pierre received his engineering qualifications from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Paris Ecole des Mines, and is also a national session auditor for the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale.

- Mr Brendan Wauters joined Senoko in January 2009. Previously, he had been based for 7 years in the Middle East/Asia/Africa headquarters of GDF Suez Energy International in Bangkok, first in the capacity of CFO for the region, and thereafter as Executive Vice President Strategy. Prior to moving to Asia, Mr Wauters had worked in Belgium and in South Africa, in M&A/financial advisory, consultancy and auditing positions. He has an MBA, and a Commercial Engineering degree, from the University of Brussels. He currently also serves as a non-executive director of Glow Energy and PTTNGD in Thailand.
- Mr Moroo Shino is currently the Manager of Marubeni Corporation’s Overseas Power Project Department – II. He had been based in Manila through 1999-2006 where he served as the General Manager of the Marubeni Philippines Power Project Office. Also, he has experience working in Abu Dhabi through 1992-1995. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics of Waseda University.
- Mr Akira Suda is currently the Vice President (Structured Finance) of Senoko Energy Pte Ltd. Prior to joining Senoko, he had been the former Vice President of Marubeni Asian Power Limited., in charge of business development of power projects in Asian region. Also, he had been a business trainee of Marubeni Corporation in Moscow, Russia, and Kiev, Ukraine during year 1999, and 2000, respectively. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics of Waseda University.
- Mr Hiroshisa Miyata is currently the General Manager of Marubeni Corporation’s Overseas Power Project Department – II and is the President and CEO of Marubeni Power Development Corporation. Prior to the present position, he was the President and CEO of Marubeni Europower Ltd., London, which is the Marubeni’s overseas headquarter for power projects in Europe, Middle East and African markets, during 2006-2008. For those years, he was also the President and CEO of Smartest Energy Ltd, one of the leading consolidators for the independent power generation sector in the UK. In years 1990-1993, he has undertaken the position of Project Manager of Marubeni Engineering (West Africa) Ltd., a power project office in Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics of Waseda University.
- Mr Hajime Tsuda is currently the Senior Advisor of Marubeni Corporation’s Environment Infrastructure Department. Prior to that, he had been General Manager of Project Development Department in Marubeni HQ, Chairman and Managing Director of Marubeni India and General Manager of Marubeni Kuala Lumpur Branch Office in Malaysia. Since 1971, he has been working for Marubeni and was involved in various projects throughout the world. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law of Keio University.
- Mr Hidehiko Yukawa is the Executive Officer of The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. (Kansai) which is the second largest power utility in Japan. In Kansai, he is in charge of international business and cooperation including investment to power projects abroad. His background is a power distribution engineer with experience of serving for Asian Development Bank as a project engineer during 1991-1994.
Mr Yukawa is a member of Program Committee of WEC (World Energy Council).

- Mr Guy Richelle is President and CEO of GDF SUEZ Energy Middle East-Asia & Africa. After graduating from the Université de Liège in 1978 as Physics Engineer specialising in nuclear power, he worked for a number of major companies across the world, such as Westinghouse and Eskom. He also obtained a certification as Senior Reactor Operator (1984) and a Management Diploma from the Université Catholique de Louvain (1994). In 1998, he joined SEI (formerly Tractebel EGI) as CEO of UPC, the company operating the Al Manah power plant in Oman. He returned to Brussels in 2001 to work as a Business Developer for the Middle East region. In November 2003, with the opening of the SEI office in Dubai, Mr Richelle became CEO of SUEZ Energy Middle East and Head of Business Development in the Middle East region. At the same time, he acted as General Delegate for SUEZ in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. Mr Richelle took up his current position on January 1, 2007.
- Mr Johan De Saeger is Executive Vice President and Head of Business Development for GDF SUEZ Energy International for Southeast and East Asia, Southern Africa and Australia. He has been with what is now GDF SUEZ for 15 years, where he has been based in Asia and Africa and dealing with various functions including business development, strategy and country representation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Glow Energy Public Limited Company ("Glow"), GDF SUEZ's listed investment vehicle in Thailand.
- Mr. Yoshihiro Yamabayashi is the general manager, International Business Group of the Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. (Kansai) who is in charge of investment to power projects around the world. His experience in Kansai started as a civil engineer at nuclear power plant development since 1985 and extended to hydro development and maintenance. He was seconded to San Roque hydropower project in the Philippines as an owner's engineer in years 1998-2001. After this experience at San Roque, he has been in charge of business development at foreign power sectors that was successfully materialized at several projects in Asia. Mr. Yamabayashi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo.
