- Brendan Wauters joined Senoko in January 2009. Previously, he had been based for 7 years in the Middle East/Asia/Africa headquarters of GDF Suez Energy International in Bangkok, first in the capacity of CFO for the region, and thereafter as Executive Vice President Strategy. Prior to moving to Asia, Brendan had worked in Belgium and in South Africa, in M&A/financial advisory, consultancy and auditing positions. He has an MBA, and a Commercial Engineering degree, from the University of Brussels. He currently also serves as a non-executive director of Glow Energy in Thailand.
- Tan Cheng Teck is in charge of the energy production aspect of the Group. He also oversee the business of storage tank leasing and terminal operation provided by Senoko Services Pte Ltd (SSPL). . Cheng Teck joined the power industry in 1984 after his graduation from National University of Singapore. He received a sponsorship in 1995 from the Public Utilities Board to undertake a Corporate Master's in Business Administration conferred by Ohio University. In 1996, he graduated from Nanyang Technological University with an MBA in Management of Technology.
Cheng Teck is a registered Professional Engineer with Professional Engineer Board, Singapore and a member of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore.. Cheng Teck has also participated in the Singapore Grid Council and Industry Consultative Committee, both convened by Energy Market Authority. He is a member of the Technical Working Group for the National Electricity Market of Singapore.
- Joseph Chia is in charge of Group’s financial functions, including treasury, taxation and capital management as well as the Group’s information systems. He joined Senoko in August 2006 as its Financial Controller and was promoted to the current position in October 2007. Prior to joining Senoko, Joseph worked in Deloitte and Touche, Showpla Asia Limited, Singapore MRT Ltd and SMRT Corporation Limited. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Murdoch University, Australia. He is also a Non-practising Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
Eu Pui Sun
Senior Vice President (Sales & Business Development)
- Eu Pui Sun is responsible for the areas of electricity sales and business development for the Senoko Group. He is also the Managing Director of Senoko Energy Supply Pte Ltd in charge of the retail business to Industrial and Commercial customers. His work experience in the utilities industry over 30 years span from plant maintenance, technical training to energy trading and market operations.
Pui Sun had served as a member of the SEP Review Team appointed by SEPEC in 1999 to review the Pool rules. Subsequently, he also served as a member of the Pro-tem Rule Change and Rule Change Panel of the current electricity market operated by the Energy Market Company (EMC) from the period 2002 to 2005.
Pui Sun holds a Master of Science Degree in System & Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the National University of Singapore. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (Singapore) and a Chartered Engineer (UK). He is also a Senior Member of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, UK.
Luke Peacocke
Vice President (Portolio Management & Regulatory Affairs)
- Luke Peacocke is responsible for management, optimisation, and hedging of Senoko’s commodity positions, including the mitigation of associated market, regulatory and operational risks. Prior to joining Senoko in 2009, Luke had a similar position at a power corporation in the Philippines He has also held various roles with the Energy Market Company in Singapore and has been involved in many facets of the implementation and operation of the National Electricity Market of Singapore. Luke is a member of the market Rules Change Panel and has a Post-Graduate Honors Degree in Commerce and Administration as well as Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
